RESEARCH INTERESTS
L.C. Peng‘s Group is dedicated to the exploration of topological magnetic materials and the development of spintronic devices. We employ Lorentz transmission electron microscopy to examine the real-space distribution of novel topological magnetic structures, such as skyrmions and antiskyrmions, in magnetic materials, seeking to understand their spin configurations and formation mechanisms. We probe the spin-excited dynamics of magnetic structures induced by various physical fields, encompassing electrical current, heat flow, and stress fields, revealing the microscopic origins of magnetic properties. We design innovative spintronic devices by nanofabrication techniques.
1) Skyrmionics; 2) Spintronic devices; 3) Lorentz transmission electron microscopy; 4) Micromagnetic simulation; 5) Topological magnetic materials, two-dimensional materials, nanomaterials, heterojunction thin film materials, superconducting materials, etc.
